Organisation: Northeast (UK) Community Pathways Trust
Location: West Gateshead (various community venues)
Type: Lead Fundraiser - Volunteer Role

About the Role

The Lead Fundraiser plays a key part in helping our new, kindness‑focused nonprofit grow. This hands‑on role is for someone who enjoys bringing people together, supporting their community, and helping raise funds that directly benefit individuals and families in need.

As we begin our work in the west of Gateshead, you’ll help create and run fundraising activities that support local charities, outreach programmes, and community hubs — as well as our own initiatives, such as providing essential bags for families, school supplies for children, and support at community drop‑ins.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and supporting fundraising activities and collections
  • Helping design creative ways to raise funds at local venues
  • Working with the team to develop new fundraising ideas
  • Speaking with supporters and ensuring they feel valued
  • Supporting kindness‑based initiatives, such as essential‑item bags or community meet‑and‑greets
  • Helping build a positive presence across the west of Gateshead

About You

  • Friendly, kind, and motivated to help your community
  • Confident engaging with the public
  • Creative and happy to contribute ideas
  • No previous fundraising experience needed — just enthusiasm
