Peer Talk is a mental health charity and we are actively looking for new volunteers to facilitate at our weekly meetings. We meet at Bensham Community Centre every Monday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm.
You will be expected to attend a meeting 4 or 5 times every three months-Meetings last 1.5 hours.
We help people who are living with feelings of anxiety and depression. There is no waiting list for our peers.
Our volunteers come from many backgrounds-a key attribute is that you care about our peers.
There are no set agendas and no preconceptions at Peer Talk.
We are looking for new volunteers to start by the end of September.
