Gateshead Leisure Centre Youth Cricket

Join our fun, high-energy cricket sessions in Gateshead, led by Brett Hutchinson, a Durham CCC Academy player and one of Cricketqube’s standout youth coaches.

These sessions are ideal for young people aged 10–17 who want to get active, build confidence and make friends — whether you already play cricket or you’re picking up a bat for the first time. Each week is an hour of cricket, focused on skills, gameplay, and plenty of positive energy in a relaxed and supportive environment.

We’ll also support interested young people to take the next step through cricket coaching qualifications and wider training, such as first-aid and safeguarding, helping you build skills, experience, and confidence beyond the sessions.

No kit or experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm and get stuck in!
