Volunteer Drivers Needed – Join Our Amazing Team!

We are currently looking for dedicated volunteer drivers to support our vital work within the community. Our organisation offers a range of volunteer opportunities, including the collection of donated stock from well-known local suppliers and the delivery of food bags to individuals and families in need.

We’re seeking reliable volunteers to assist with regular collections and deliveries. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team that’s passionate about making a difference.

Current Volunteer Driving Opportunities:

  • Monday Collections (to be completed before 12:00 PM):
    • CO-OP stores in Crawcrook, Wylam, and Prudhoe
    • ALDI in Prudhoe
  • Friday Delivery Driver (around 10:30 AM):
    • Local delivery route (approx. 30 minutes per run)

All pick-up and delivery locations are within the local area. Multiple routes are available depending on your availability and preference.

Requirements:

  • Access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to carry food bags ("Happy Bags")
  • Commitment to regular weekly slots is ideal
