PLEASE NOTE: This role is only needed for the Christmas period
Each person who'd like to volunteer needs to sign up individually, and volunteers are not permitted to bring friends, family members, or children along with them on shifts.
If you plan to apply for this role, please note you will need an electronic copy of your recognised qualification and PLI certificate to hand.

Our massage service gives our guests a rare chance to release tension, relax and totally unwind. If you are a qualified masseuse, come and share your skills and make a real difference to homeless people this Christmas.
Skills needed
You must have a recognised qualification and appropriate insurance.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with vulnerable guests.
A positive attitude and the ability to encourage and motivate guests who may not have had a massage before.
A can-do attitude and willingness to muck in and help the entire activities team throughout your shift.
Ability to work with the Shift Team and report any potential issues to the shift leader
Ability to deliver Crisis at Christmas services in a fair manner ensuring that the safety of the guests and volunteers is of paramount importance at all times
Be a positive role model for all volunteers exhibiting behaviours outlined in the Volunteers Code of Conduct
Unfortunately we do not accept reiki or other natural healing practitioners.
