Bridal Shop Volunteer

Help create magical moments for brides-to-be

Join our specialist Posh Frocks and Bridal Boutique in Whitley Bay and be part of a team helping brides, wedding parties and sustainable shoppers feel amazing for their special occasions.

This is a friendly, feel-good role where every shift is different. You could be welcoming customers to our upstairs bridal shop, helping someone choose the perfect dress, shoes and accessories, preparing donated stock for sale, or keeping the shop looking its best.

You do not need bridal or retail experience, just a friendly and helpful attitude, a willingness to get stuck in, and an eye for detail.

We will give you the guidance and support you need, and you will be part of a welcoming team making a real difference in the local community.

When: Flexible, ideally one regular shift per week, agreed around your availability and shop opening hours.

Skills needed


• You do not need bridal or retail experience . We will give you the guidance
and support you need .
• A friendly, patient and welcoming approach .
• Enjoys listening to people and offering helpful support.
• Happy to be part of a friendly team and help where needed.
• Takes care when handling delicate clothes and accessories.
• This role can involve standing for some time, light lifting , and handling
delicate or heavier items such as bridal gowns. We will talk this through
with you.
