A group of pigeon fanciers based in HighfieldAs a group of Pigeon fanciers we race our pigeons from race points in the UK and France. We race 27 races, these start in April and end in October each year. Our members are historically drawn from the local community which surrounds the immediate area of the compound where most of our members lofts are situated. The Highfield Homing Society is currently running the Community Loft Project, which has facilities available for a meir starter to join our sport, to join our society and learn the life skills of being a pigeon fancier – with no initial cost involved.
