The Bank, Chopwell

A community fridge, pay as you feel cafe, Venue & skills centre in rural Gateshead. Fighting food waste & offering people food, skills, friendship & great coffee.

The Bank is now fully open:

• The Café and Community Market are open from 10.00-4.00 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with Pay as You Can food, drinks and meals to eat in or take away and a selection of household items available.
• A range of activities have been piloted with more on the way!
• Local tenants occupying the 5 rooms upstairs, from where they are running a variety of small businesses.
• The co-working space is available for ‘hot-desking’ at £14 a day. Please contact team@chopwell.org for more information.
