Felling Food Network, Social Media Coordinator/Communications Volunteer

The Felling Food Network is established within the Community to provide 3 day emergency food parcel distribution point for local people experiencing food poverty in Felling and surrounding areas. 

There are currently two sessions from the Felling Food Network per month which include:

• The 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Cadet Building, off Wellington Street, Felling NE10 0BH from 10:00am until 1pm 
• The 4th Wednesday of each month 10:00am - 1:00pm at Cadet Building off Wellington Street, Felling 

The group would like support from volunteers to:

• create social media posts
• increase social media presence
• post regular updates 
• provide online informative details
• provide case studies of project activities and write ups. 

All of this will be used to promote the Felling Food Network and volunteers are asked to use their own creativity by taking the basic information from the project contact. 

Volunteers will be provided with access to the group's social media accounts so that information can be updated remotely using different accounts. 

Volunteers can work in conjunction with others as part of a team or on their own. 

The group would also like help with their website development and general marketing materials. The project would enable volunteers to have their own control of the information that is produced and develop their own creative writing and marketing  experience. 

In order to help develop the project work that the group deliver, case studies would be needed which will be made available on the website.
