If you care for a child aged 0 to 25 with a disability or long-term illness, we think you’d love our Parent Carer Connections group!

Join us online for a special session focused on involving children with additional needs in sport.

Participating in physical sports provides lots of benefits for children with additional needs, from building physical confidence and motor skills to making friends.

Whether your child is completely new to sports, interested in adaptive physical activities or you’re simply looking for inclusive local opportunities, this session is designed to offer peer support and new connections to local services.

To share practical insights and lived experience on making sports inclusive, we are thrilled to be joined by a guest speaker from North East Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby!

Spaces are limited, please let us know if you’ll be coming by signing up for this session on our website.

Date: Monday, 21st December 2026

Time: 7pm – 8 pm

Venue: Online via Microsoft Teams
