St Chad's Community Kitchen

St Chad's Community Kitchen provides delicious and healthy hot meals and a dessert for people who live in the Bensham and Saltwell area.

The meals are available from 12.00noon to 1.00pm every Tuesday. They can be taken away or eaten in the church hall. In the colder months the church hall is also a warm place for local people.

The service is entirely run by volunteers. There is no charge for the meals as the food is provided by grants from the National Lottery and Gateshead Council.

We provide 80 meals on a 'first come first served' basis. No entry until 11.45am.
