Over 55's free Outdoor Programme 'Pushing the Possibilities'
Please check with the event organiser before making a special trip to this event.
The 'Pushing the Possibilities' outdoor programme is a free outdoor education programme for disadvantaged older people. The programme will play a key role in targeting older people who may be isolated, inactive, overcoming poor health or mental health conditions. The project will offer three and a half outdoor activity days. Activities could include map reading and hill walking, canoeing, rock climbing and abseiling, mountain biking and bushcraft skills. The project will operate four times per year and also offer two residential experiences for those who would like to further their outdoor experiences in a more challenging environment. The next 'Pushing the Possibilities' course will commence on Thursday 18th October 1pm - 5pm.
