Volunteer Data Assistant

Description: Are you passionate about wildlife and conservation, with good attention to detail, and an interest/experience in I.T. skills? If so you could contribute to the vital work we do, by helping to process the data we receive at ERIC. By collecting wildlife records from across the North East of England we can build up a detailed picture of species and habitats within our region. Importantly these data are then made available to a wide range of people including biodiversity professionals, local authorities and voluntary wildlife recorders who can use the information to ensure effective decision making regarding the region’s biodiversity. This is only possible due to the data we receive from wildlife recorders, including members of the public.
