Volunteers support our mission to provide high quality, sustainable family and group activities for all ages and abilities in the Teams community.  Volunteers help Teams Life Centre ('TLC') offer a bit of 'tlc' in the community!

We are looking for volunteers to help serve food and clear tables at the disco however, any donation of time you can provide us is gratefully received.

The role includes:

  • Welcoming all in a warm and friendly manner,
  • Keeping a watchful eye, helping to keep everyone and their belongings safe.
  • Boogying on down to funky music if you so wish.  :-)

Volunteers can also support us by:

  • Helping in the kitchen, preparing food and drinks,
  • Clearing tables and delivering food.

You will join a friendly team of staff and volunteers who will support you with everything you need, led by Margaret Carlin, Centre Manager.  So join us and:

  • Make people smile,
  • Make a real difference to the people of Teams,
  • Support the sustainability of the Centre,
  • Benefit from discounts on food and receive free tea and coffee,
  • Get a reference to help with education or employment if required.

Skills needed

We are looking for someone who enjoys being with people, who is friendly and welcoming and has respect and sensitivity towards all cultures and backgrounds, including adults with learning and physical disabilities.
