Active Kidz, Play volunteer

Description of what will be involved: 

The Active Kidz play programme volunteers have an active role in the planning and delivery of play activities.  Volunteers will be supporting and encouraging children & young people to engage with activities working as part of a team.

The programme provides a fun, safe and stimulating environment for children & young people.  Volunteers will ensure a good example and postitive role model to children & young people and will be required to attend training opportunities as and when needed.

Volunteers need to be 16 or over and will need to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check which will be supported by the Volunteer Coordinator for the programme.

The next round of volunteer recruitment will occur prior to the autumn school holidays (2018).

 

 

Skills and qualifications needed: 

Volunteers need enthusiasm and an interest of working with children & young people.
