Our Gateshead

Tyneside Beekeepers

About us:

Tyneside Beekeepers is a friendly, open group of beekeepers based in the North East of England, around Newcastle and Gateshead. We are open to both beekeepers and those interested in bees. There are regular talks, demonstrations and training on beekeeping, gardening for honey bees and other pollinators, and hive produce processing.
Follow our blog, and find our social media links.

We have bees at Saltwell Park and a members' apiary further up the Tyne Valley.

All summer meeting are held outdoors. If you have always wanted to see inside a hive then get in touch and we can loan you a bee suit and you can see if beekeeping is the hobby for you.

In the winter months we meet up on the last Tuesday of each month at  St Helens Church Hall, Belle Vue Bank, Low Fell, Gateshead NE9 6BR

Everyone is welcome whether you're already a beekeeper, curious, or wanting to start.  Please come along and have a chat and a cuppa.
