Welcome to the Rowlands Gill Volunteer Library. We are a popular library located in central Rowlands Gill run by friendly volunteers who are happy to help with your enquiries. We provide many services to the local community including:

The library is run by volunteers in conjunction with Gateshead Council who continue to provide books and computers whilst he library volunteers run the service.
We always welcome additional volunteers, for which full training and support is provided. For further information on volunteering opportunities please contact the library direct.

HOW TO FIND US:
By Car: The library is situated on Norman Road, behind the A694. Look for the turning by the Cenotaph.
By bus: In addition to the Red Kite 45, 45E, 46 and 47 services, the followinf services all stop in Rowlands Gill: R3, R4, R5, R6, S854, S868, S875, 792, 827 and 933.
