World Suicide Prevention Day is held each year on 10 September. It's an annual awareness raising event organised by International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).

Self Injury support
Information about self injury, self help ideas, guidance to help find services, support groups, etc. near you for people who self injure.
TESS text and email support
Text and email support for girls and women up to 24 who self injure. For email support, go to the contact website, and fill in the TESS email form. All support is 100% confidential. Even if you do not know how to start talking, just text or email "hello" and you will recieve a reply within 24 hours during opening times, which are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7pm-9pm.

Women's Self Injury helpline.
UK-wide Women's Self Injury Helpline, open on Wednesdays from 7-9pm and Thursdays from 3-5pm.You can call us for confidential, non-judgemental emotional support around self injury on 0808 800 8088. All volunteers are female and have received specialist training
