Our Gateshead

Andys Mans Group - Mens Mental Health

There was an interesting piece in The Guardian magazine (Saturday 9th March 2019) about a model of Mens Mental Health club, run in the evening,  originally set up in Yorkshire and the North West but also prevalent in the South of England.

There are no Mental Health professionals working at this model of Mens club and everybody involved can help in facilitating the group if they wish.  The Groups operate to bring men together, reduce isolation and get men talking about Mental Health.   There is clear evidence on the benefits of such an approach.

I'd be very interested in hearing and discussing ideas on how we could get a similar group running in Gateshead.  if you have any views please contact-:
