Teams and Bensham Community Care

Teams and Bensham Community Care is a Registered Charity (1122735) providing a range of high quality services and activities which are available to people over 65 years of age in Gateshead.

Our popular lunch clubs and men's groups are well loved due to our freshly cooked, two course meals, warm and welcoming environment and our dedicated, caring team who make every guest feel included and valued. Each lunch club has great food, wonderful company, and plenty of activities, games and quizzes and if there is something to be celebrated, you can guarantee that we will do it in style. We also have a card making group every Tuesday morning followed by lunch. 

Our two course meals are prepared each day by our wonderful cooks. There's plenty of  baked goods to take home too. Our regular attendees from the local area benefit from peace of mind when they are unable to come to the centre while recovering from illness or injury, as we will always deliver a hot meal to them at home if wanted. 

If you live locally, why not use our accessible minibus that can pick you up from your door, bring you to our centre and take you home again afterwards.
