Heel & Toe Children's Charity provide FREE Conductive Education Therapy to children who have Cerebral Palsy and otherphysical disabilities at our centre in County Durham. This therapy is offered to any child aged between 6 months to 19 years old from any part of the North East area.
Conductive Education is a mixture of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and a learning process rolled into 2 hourly session.
The therapy develops muscles and stamina, improves mobility and improves self-esteem, confidence and social skills.
Our centre is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm. Heel & Toe are not government funded and rely soley on donations and fundraising.
We can provide a specialist Occupational Therapy service for children which includes an assessment and/or treatment. All assessments are carried out by highly skilled, fully qualified occupational therapists. Areas we cover can include neurological conditions including DCD, ADHD and Dyspraxia. Physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy.
