About us: 

Edberts House is an exciting community project  in the centre of High Lanes estate in Gateshead.  We are working together to make our community a happier, healthier place to live. We run activities for all ages:

Community Lunch


Basic skills training (Literacy and Numeracy)

Healthy Eating

Chair-based exercise

Young women’s group

Men's group

Thursday Live – after school club for 7-11 year olds

Beavers & Cubs groups

Trips, Fun Days and Special Events!


Everyone is welcome - we have a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of fun and laughter. We also love to meet people who would like to volunteer with us, and help us make Edberts even better!
