If you've had thoughts of self-harming or are feeling suicidal, contact someone immediately such as your GP, a friend, relative or someone you trust. If you have already taken an overdose or cut yourself badly, dial 999. You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency.

The Emergency Duty Team provides an urgent social care response for anyone living in Gateshead who needs emergency help.
The team are there to help with personal or family problems that reach a crisis.
Help First Drop in sessions - Friday
